Safe, protected switching on and off

The NOLTA safety plug (also called a Schützkombination) protects the motor of your submersible pump and has an operating switch and a selector switch for manual or automatic operation. This version is intended for a 400V motor with a rated current within 2.5–4.0 A. Choose the setting range that your pump's rated current falls into; you will find it on our pump's product page and on the pump's rating plate.

Advantages:

+ On/off via rocker switch
+ Adjustable thermal overload protection
+ Phase sequence monitoring (rotating field check) with indicator
+ Reversing circuit (phase inverter) built into the plug
+ Cable gland for a float switch, also available with the float switch fitted
+ On request supplied by the manufacturer fitted directly to the pump

Technical specifications:

Housing material: Polycarbonate
Protection class: IP 44
Dimensions (CEE 16A): 290 x 110 x 80 mm (L x W x H)
Dimensions (CEE 32A): 310 x 110 x 80 mm (L x W x H)

Connection: CEE 16A or 32A, 3P+E+N, 400V, 50-60Hz
Setting range (this version): 2.5 - 4.0 A (other ranges on request, depending on the rated motor current)

Please note:

Select and set the thermal protection on the basis of the rated motor current on the rating plate. The thermal protection does not replace the prescribed upstream fuse. Have the connection and adjustment carried out by a qualified electrician. Contact us if you are unsure which version suits your pump.

Images and version

The images are product visualisations. The scene showing a pump, wall socket and separate float switch is an example set-up. Those parts are not included with the separate motor protection plug shown; a version with the float switch fitted is available on request.
