Pros and Cons:
+ Large free passage of 28 mm: pumps wastewater with fibers and soft solids
+ Choice of single-channel impeller (M, high flow rate) or vortex impeller (V, clog-free)
+ Cast iron pump housing, motor housing, and impeller — built for daily use
+ Available in 230 V and 400 V, with float or loose cable end
- Significant weight (13-22 kg)
Wastewater pump with large passage:
The HOMA TP28 is a cast iron wastewater pump with a free passage of 28 mm. Where a regular drainage pump stops at 10 mm, the TP28 also handles water with larger soft solids, wipes, and fibers — precisely the type of wastewater found in pump sumps of homes, businesses, and public facilities.
The choice between M and V is simple in practice: the M-version with an open single-channel impeller achieves the highest head (13.6 m), while the V-version with a vortex impeller is virtually impervious to clogging with fibrous water. The motor is oil-filled and pressure-waterproof (IP68, insulation class H) with a thermal sensor in the winding; the connection compartment is separate from the motor. The entry-level models TP28V W/WA come with a plug, the other versions with a control box or loose cable end for fixed installation.
Scope of delivery:
10 m cable and control box; A-versions with automatic float switch on the pump cover; DL-versions without control box with loose cable end; TP28V W(A) without control box, with plug.
