Pros and cons:
+ Diaphragm pressure tank (22 - 60 litres) prevents frequent switching during low water demand
+ Fully automatic via pressure switch — tap open = pump on
+ Self-priming, stainless steel pump housing and impeller
- Only for clean water (no abrasive particles)
Classic booster system for home and garden:
The HOMA HWE series is the classic domestic water system: a self-priming stainless steel pump with a pressure switch and a diaphragm pressure tank. The pressure tank supplies small amounts of water without the pump having to start — ideal for toilet flushes or brief hand washing, and it saves switching cycles and energy.
The HWE55 and HWE71 have a 22-litre steel pressure tank, the HWE70-60 a large 60-litre tank, and the HWE76E a 22-litre stainless steel tank. All models provide water supply from a well, rainwater tank, or pond and are also suitable for lawn sprinklers and pressure boosting (max. inlet pressure 1 bar) thanks to their high pressure.
