Pros and cons:
+ Stainless steel agitator head stirs up settled sludge, sand, and bentonite — pumps what other pumps leave behind
+ Wear-resistant impeller and cast-iron pump housing: built for abrasive water
+ Includes STORZ-C coupling and 90° connection elbow
+ Operates on standard 230 V mains plug
- Solid particles up to a maximum of 6 mm
Construction pump with agitator head for muddy water:
The HOMA HBPR504 and HBPR508 are construction pumps with agitator heads for water containing abrasive sand or mud particles. Every contractor knows the problem with settled sludge: a regular submersible pump sucks away the water above it, leaving the thick layer of mud behind. The rotating stainless steel agitator head of the HBPR stirs up this layer and keeps the sludge in suspension, allowing the pump to discharge it. Especially with difficult mixtures of dirty water, sand, or bentonite, this makes the difference between a clean pit and follow-up work with a shovel.
Typical applications: keeping construction pits and shafts dry, groundwater lowering, basement dewatering, and emergency deployment during floods. The pressure-tight motor (IP68) has a thermal sensor in the winding and a heavily dimensioned chrome steel motor shaft with a double-acting SiC mechanical seal. The WA versions switch automatically via the float switch.
Scope of delivery:
Pump with agitator head, STORZ-C coupling, 90° connection elbow, 10 m cable and mains plug. WA versions with automatic float switch.
