Pros and cons:
+ Heavy-duty professional construction pumps: up to 70 m³/hour and 31 m head
+ Jacket cooling: full motor cooling even at low water levels, continuous operation (S1)
+ Wear-resistant impeller, pump housing made of ductile cast iron (GJS), stainless steel outer casing
+ Includes control box with manual/auto switch and STORZ coupling
- Requires 400 V three-phase power
Professional construction pump for abrasive dirty water:
The HOMA HBP522, HBP537 and HBP555 are jacket-cooled construction pumps for dirty water containing abrasive sand or mud particles. This is the heavier segment of the HBP series: where the HBP503-512 handles daily construction pit work, these machines are used when serious volume needs to be moved — dewatering large construction pits, tunnels, wellpoint dewatering or emergency deployment for large-area flooding.
In practice, the jacket cooling is a major advantage on a construction site: the pump continues to run cooled even when the pit is almost empty, without overheating. The motor shaft and outer casing are made of stainless steel, the impeller is wear-resistant and the pump housing of ductile cast iron (GJS) is resistant to years of abrasive conditions. Supplied with 20 m cable and control box; the DA versions switch automatically via the float switch.
Scope of delivery:
Pump with 20 m cable, control box with manual/auto switch or on/off switch and STORZ coupling. DA versions with automatic float switch.
