Stainless steel submersible pump for clean and dirty water:
The HOMA CR253 WA is a stainless steel submersible pump with a cooling jacket for pumping clean and dirty water containing solids up to 10 mm. This includes tasks such as emptying a basement during flooding, keeping pits and shafts dry, or draining domestic wastewater from a sink, shower, or washing machine in the basement.
Why choose stainless steel? A stainless steel submersible pump does not rust, making it significantly more durable than a plastic pump, especially for permanently installed applications in a pump sump. In practice, fixed installations in a damp pit often prove to be the weak point of cheaper pumps — the CR253, with its full stainless steel housing, suction strainer, and motor shaft, does not suffer from this. The guided float switch automatically turns the pump on and off based on the water level, and the switching height is adjustable.
The pressure-tight motor has thermal monitoring in the winding (protection class IP68, insulation class F), and thanks to the cooling jacket, continuous operation is possible even at low water levels.
