Pros and Cons:
+ Integrated float switch with very narrow width: automatic operation even in very narrow shafts
+ Integrated non-return valve and automatic ventilation with additional bleed screw
+ Removable suction strainer: residual water can be pumped down to 5 mm
+ Jacket cooling with top discharge connection: cooling guaranteed, even during snore operation
- Solids up to a maximum of 10 mm
Submersible pump with integrated float switch:
The HOMA Chromatic C250 WE is a submersible pump with an integrated float switch for clean and dirty water. Where a regular float switch needs to move freely and therefore requires space, the level switch in the C250 WE is fully integrated into the pump. This makes it the ideal pump for narrow pump sumps and confined shafts where a pump with an external float simply won't fit — a request we frequently receive in practice.
The pump is widely applicable: emptying basements in case of flooding, keeping pits and shafts dry, draining domestic wastewater (sink, shower, washing machine) in the basement, or as an emergency pump during a flood. Thanks to the removable suction strainer, the C250 WE can pump down to just 5 mm of residual water. The motor housing and motor shaft are made of stainless steel; the motor is pressure-tight (IP X8) with a thermal sensor in the winding.
Scope of delivery:
