Widely applicable
Submersible pumps from the HIPPO series are used for pumping wastewater, sewage, and sludge in construction, utilities, and industry. This includes dirty water pumping stations with faeces or a pit containing a fraction of sludge.
Large free passage
Due to the large free passage of 50 mm, they are particularly well-suited for use in media with coarse solids and fibers. Sewage and wastewater, as well as sludge in the construction and industrial sectors, containing grass, sand, or various solids, are transported without problems by the reliable vortex impeller and the large 50mm free passage.
Agitator and rubber casing
For use in abrasive media, the pumps can optionally be equipped with a rubber casing and an agitator. This agitator is attached to the impeller and prevents clogging of the inlet when pumping sludge-containing material.
The agitator mounted on the shaft improves the fluidity of the pumped medium, so that problematic mixtures of, for example, water, sand, and many types of sludge are mixed by the movement of the agitator and the special suction behavior of the pump. Optionally, all HIPPO series pumps can be equipped with an agitator (+R).
