Non-return valve in the discharge pipe, so the water does not run back into the sump or tank as soon as the pump stops. That prevents the pump from starting unnecessarily often and stops dirt flowing back.
Choose the size to match the discharge port:
- 1" — San.iQ cut, Sanifox and Saniflux
- 1¼" — San.iQ one, Saniquick 1A, San.iQ plus C140 and the Saniquick pump sumps
- 1½" and 2" — cast iron ball check valve, for submersible pumps and Sanipower
- DN65 — flanged swing check valve for larger installations
Fit the valve as close to the pump as possible, with the gate valve behind it.
