Pros and cons:
+ For dirty water containing alkalis or salts, pH value 5 to 14
+ Pump housing, impeller and motor housing in thick-walled cast iron, all seals in Viton
+ SiC/SiC mechanical seal, independent of the direction of rotation
+ Oil-filled motor, insulation class H, suitable for continuous operation
+ Available with a control panel (W / D) or with a free cable end (WL / DL) for an existing control system
− No float: for automatic operation you need a level control
Submersible pump for chemically loaded dirty water in laundries and industry:
The HOMA CH413 is a submersible pump for chemically loaded dirty water: water containing alkalis, salts or cleaning agents, as produced in laundries, car washes, the food industry and other commercial applications. The entire pump housing is of thick-walled cast iron EN-GJL-250 and all seals are Viton. That allows the pump to handle media with a pH value between 5 and 14.
Why cast iron and not plastic? With warm, alkaline water full of soap and grease residues, thick-walled cast iron with Viton seals lasts considerably longer in practice than a light plastic pump. The CH413 achieves 23.5 m³ per hour at a maximum head of 12 metres. That is ample for a commercial sump with a substantial discharge.
The pump can stand loose in the sump or be installed permanently with an automatic coupling system. You then pull it up along the guide rails for maintenance, without having to enter the sump. The W and D versions are supplied with a control panel and motor protection. The L versions have a free cable end for connection to your own control panel with motor protection or level control.
Scope of delivery:
1. CH413 W (230V): pump with 10 m cable, W1 control panel with motor protection, ON/OFF switch and plug
2. CH413 WL (230V): pump with 10 m cable and free cable end, capacitor built in, without control panel
3. CH413 D (400V): pump with 10 m cable, D32 control panel with motor protection, ON/OFF switch and phase inverter
4. CH413 DL (400V): pump with 10 m cable and free cable end, without control panel
