Dirty water pump with float switch for cellars, sumps and flooding:
The HOMA Bully C150 WA is the big brother of the well-known Bully C140: a compact dirty water pump with a float switch for emptying cellars, sumps and shafts, and for draining grey water from a sink, shower or washing machine. Where the C140 stops at 10 mm, the C150 handles solids up to 20 mm and delivers 12.5 m³ per hour at a head of up to 10.5 metres.
In practice a pump in a cellar sump often clogs with leaves, sand or fibres carried along by the water. The open multi-channel impeller with a 20 mm free passage is far less sensitive to that. The cooling jacket lets the water flow along the motor, so the pump stays cool even at a low water level. Remove the suction strainer and it empties the floor down to about 5 mm.
Which Bully do I need? For a small sump with clean water the C140 is enough. If dirty water with coarser solids comes in, or the water has to go higher or further, choose the C150 WA. The float switch makes the pump start and stop by itself according to the water level. That way it works fully automatically as a cellar pump.
