Welke vuilwaterpomp past bij uw situatie?

Vuil water is water met vaste delen erin: bladeren, zand, slib of textielvezels. Controleer of de pomp geschikt is voor de aanwezige deeltjes en vervuiling. Bij een vuilwaterpomp kijkt u daarom eerst naar de vrije doorlaat: de grootste vaste delen die de pomp ongehinderd doorlaat.

Waar u op let

  • Vrije doorlaat. Vergelijk de deeltjes met de vrije doorlaat van het model. Controleer daarnaast de geschiktheid voor schurende deeltjes en vezels; alleen een ruimere doorlaat voorkomt geen slijtage of verstopping.
  • Waaier. Een vortexwaaier werkt met een draaikolk en laat vuil grotendeels langs de waaier passeren, wat de kans op verstopping verkleint. Een meerkanaalswaaier is zuiniger en haalt meer druk, maar is gevoeliger voor vezels.
  • Debiet en opvoerhoogte samen. Maximaal debiet en maximale opvoerhoogte worden niet tegelijk gehaald. Controleer op de pompcurve het debiet bij uw totale opvoerhoogte. Reken uw werkpunt na met de pompcalculator.
  • Materiaal. Gietijzer is robuust en zwaar; RVS is niet automatisch geschikt voor agressief of zouthoudend water. Laat de materialen en afdichtingen toetsen aan uw medium.
