Een pomp selecteren voor uw medium

Bij chemisch of agressief water bepaalt de volledige materiaalcombinatie of een pomp geschikt is. RVS, titanium en kunststof hebben elk hun toepassingsgrenzen. Een algemene aanduiding als corrosiebestendig is onvoldoende voor een veilige selectie.

Deze gegevens heeft u nodig

  • Medium: naam van de stoffen, concentraties, temperatuur en eventueel het veiligheidsinformatieblad. Alleen een pH-waarde is onvoldoende.
  • Materialen: laat pomphuis, waaier, as, afdichtingen en kabel toetsen aan de bestendigheidsgegevens van de fabrikant.
  • Werkpunt: controleer op de pompcurve welk debiet de pomp levert bij uw totale opvoerhoogte: hoogteverschil plus leidingverliezen en eventuele vereiste einddruk. Maximaal debiet en maximale opvoerhoogte zijn afzonderlijke grenswaarden en worden niet tegelijk gehaald.
  • Opstelling: geef waterstanden, bedrijfsduur en de gewenste regeling door. Explosiegevaar vraagt om een afzonderlijke beoordeling van de installatie.
