Waarom een vortexwaaier

Een vortexwaaier zit teruggetrokken in het pomphuis en maakt een draaikolk. Het water wordt daardoor grotendeels verplaatst zónder dat het vuil de waaier raakt. Dat kost wat rendement, maar het maakt de pomp een stuk minder gevoelig voor vezels, doeken en slierten die een andere waaier laten vastlopen.

Vortex of een andere waaier?

  • Vortex: minder kans op verstopping, ruimere doorlaat, iets lager rendement. De logische keuze bij vervuild en vezelrijk water.
  • Meerkanaals of eenkanaals: hoger rendement en meer druk bij hetzelfde vermogen, maar gevoeliger voor vuil. Prima bij schoon tot licht vervuild water.
  • Snijwerk: maakt vaste delen klein in plaats van ze door te laten. Voor fecaliën in combinatie met een dunne persleiding.
