Licht vervuild water, oftewel grijswater

Grijswater is water zonder fecaliën, maar met wat vuil erin: regenwater dat over een dak of terras is gelopen, water uit een ondergelopen kelder, waswater uit een wasmachine of douche. Er zitten kleine deeltjes in, maar geen grove vaste delen.

Waar u op let

  • Vrije doorlaat tot ongeveer 10 mm is voor grijswater meestal voldoende. Verwacht u bladeren of zand, kies dan een vuilwaterpomp.
  • Automatisch schakelen. Moet de pomp onbeheerd blijven staan, neem er dan een met vlotter of niveauschakelaar. Zie dompelpompen met vlotter.
  • Hoe ver zakt het water? Moet de vloer echt droog, kijk dan bij de vlakzuigers; die pompen af tot enkele millimeters.

Is het water helemaal schoon — leidingwater, zwembadwater, een regenton — dan volstaat een pomp uit schoon en licht vervuild water. Weet u het niet zeker? Bel 085 - 210 08 97.
